I will doing this next week at the local regional competition: Visiting the FIRST Robotics pits - Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories.

FIRST Robotics rocks! I have been a mentor to many high school robotics teams at many different high schools. Best thing ever!

FIRST Robotics season kicks off - today!!!

“Rebound Rumble” Robotics Game Unveiled by Dean Kamen and Host of Celebrities to 60,000 High-School Students at 2012 FIRST Robotics Competition Kickoff | USFIRST.org.

I have been a FIRST Robotics mentor to teams at five, actually six, high schools - now in my 5th or 6th year (I’ve lost count). An incredible experience for everyone. The 2012 challenge has been announced.

Today’s kick off “ featured remarks by former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush; Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report; “ … heh, good thing they had only important people :)
